Teeth a bit touchy
My gums, teeth, filling, jaw were beginning to give me some gyp so I decided to book in an appointment.
It’s easy to blame one thing on not running and getting fit but I’m going to and this is the perfect excuse that I wish to name and blame for my laziness.
Really though since having the filling done I’ve not felt right and today seemed the best time to go along and get some work done. I managed to get an appointment with Tim (Fred was away) for a short notice appointment at 3:40, as this was the best I could do and it was such short notice I took it. Terrible though that I had a business support managers meeting at that time too, drat what a shame I had to drop out.
Anyway when I got there Tim was no longer available so I had to have an appointment with Fred’s other son Nick who was super nice. He explained that I probably had an infection and that the fact that the pain seemed to not be only limited to my filling was probably because the infection was spreading. He put some fluoride on the filling and then he got me on a regimen of anti-biotics. What he did explain too was that as I was giving up smoking it meant that the vessels might sneak back to the surface (or was it the other way around) anyway he recounted a tale of a friend of his who upon giving up smoking continually got such bad gum bleeds that the best option was usually to go back onto the cigarettes. It seems that my infection might have been in part due to me giving up smoking at the same time as having such a large filling fitted.
Well there you go you learn something new every day.
