Battery problems
Nearly a week off running well that’s just not good enough. Hey but I did get a bit of a holiday in there to go down to my Sis’s with my lovely little daughter to show her off. A two day break became a four day haul with the journeys there and back of 320 miles a go and the journey back taking a full nine hours then made the break go from four days to seven with the recovery time that I needed.
Anyway I got up early-ish and headed over to Seaton, not a bad morning for a run, a bit dull and not too warm though it did get a bit warm in places.
I resolved to not look at my watch and take it easy so I was really surprised to find when I did look at my watch that I was cracking on at a fair pace. In fact on average with the reserves I had left too it was going to be my finest hour in 9 mile running for the year. Sooo I wasn’t too happy when I looked at my watch to find it pooped out of battery and I was doubly irritated (yes for an entire split second in all, I really don’t get upset about things like this now) to find that the times recorded for the last lap were a bit weird and they put my full lap times out of kilter.
Anyway judge for yourself, there is just noooo way I was going that slow on the last lap…
Bah humbug.
