Unhappy little girlie, Daddy’s off to a run
I’m trying to catch up on my running after my recent stint of smoking.
This meant that despite having a really busy week that involved me going to bed at 1:10-ish-am and getting up at 6:22-exact-am that I still was going to go for a run today whether I liked it or not.
Trouble was it wasn’t just down to me, I’d picked up Izzi early in the morning from her Nan’s and had driven her for over an hour to my Mum and Dad’s.
She didn’t look happy, she looked tired, I’d accidentally knocked her head while opening the car door and I don’t think she was happy with the prospect of her Daddy going for a run while she had to go to Aunt Jenny’s with my Mum.
Anyway did my best to pacify her and I struck off to a lovely sunny morning on Seaton front. There were plenty of people milling around already and it was a lovely day for a run. I headed out with a slight tail wind behind me and made quite a good pace, heading back wasn’t so easy, that slight tail wind had become a naughty head wind. Still it was a lovely run and testimony to the day being nice Seaton was filling up just as I was leaving.
Got back to Jenny’s and the sunny disposition of Izzi wasn’t obvious and she was in a very scowly mood with here Dad.
It could have been that she was tired though as later that day while watching the FA Cup she managed to snooze through the whole match.
Anyway this is how it looks:
