5 days and 5 hours
5 days and 5 hours wihout a ciggie, £42 richer and now with 10 more hours of life to my credit.
Managed to forget to take a patch to my parents’ for an overnight stay and decided not to put a new one on when I got home. Now although I feel fine I know I’m rather irritable, there’s that guy who posted that thing on Facebook that I’m really annoyed about and don’t even start me on what’s going on at work. Rrrr
The dreams abated the other night when the patch I had on was wearing out, I seem to remember having lots of dreams but that was about the size of it, nothing interesting to report home there, the patch was a day and 2/3 old by then though.
Lungs feeling a lot better, that knot that was in there seems to be almost gone.
My sense of smell seems to have just come back and I’m wondering where a weird whiff is currently coming from in my living room. Funnily enough my nose doesn’t seem to have posed too much of a problem giving up this time, normally it’s caked inside with tar and stuff and takes days to get back to normal. This time it’s been fine, no real problems at all, a bit of a refreshing breeze to be honest.
Working today on the house, all my dog ends are cleaned up from the back garden, the old empty packs have been removed and I’m off the patches already. I reckon this could all work out ok.
Fitness tomorrow, I’ll be picking up Izzi in the morning to take her to her grandparents’ on the coast, I’ll take the time to do a run along the sea-front. I took all my measurements this morning, not good but not terrible, I’ve put on a half a stone since I came off the 5:2 diet and that was only a month or so ago.
Running tomorrow (Glucosamine and Omega 3 now back on diet), smoking over, new running shoes next week and 5:2 diet starting next Tuesday.
Just out of interest my big sister is crewing a racing yacht around the Isle of Man today in the Cowes Regatta, she’s getting it right, I’m very jealous.
